We at Stone City Woodworks strive to process your online order as quickly as we can. Epoxy and Finish orders may take 2-3 days to process prior to shipping. Lake Maps, Charcuterie Boards, lumber processing time will vary based on available stock and production time. Our goal is to have these items processed within 2-3 weeks prior to shipping.
You select the shipping courier at check-out, we currently partner with Canpar, Purolator, Fedex, and DHL. The shipping time is not the same as processing time.
What is the difference between shipping time and processing time?
Processing time is the time it takes our staff at Stone City Woodworks to create, pick, and pack your order for shipping. Depending on the season, the processing time may take longer based on staff available and current project demands. However we strive to meet our goal of processing times mentioned above.
Shipping time is the time it takes from once the order is picked up and processed by our shipping partners until the approximate arrival date to your door. Once an item is shipped, the delivery time is out of our hands. We work with select shipping partners whose shipping practices match or exceed our expectations.
We currently offer shipping to Canada, USA, and select international countries. Duties, taxes, or any extra fees associated with international shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We also require signature upon delivery to ensure your package arrives to you safely, this may exclude delivery to P.O. Boxes.
International shipping often comes with duties or extra fees. These extra fees are the responsibility of the customer, by completing your purchase at check-out you are agreeing to pay for any extra costs associated with international shipping.
Should your shipment arrive damaged, we encourage the customer to contact the shipping company directly.

Claims for Loss or Damage to Shipments. Stone City Wood will not process any claim for loss of or damage to any Shipment unless notice thereof setting out the particulars of the origin, destination, parcel identification number (PIN), date of Shipment and the estimated amount claimed in respect of such loss or damage is given to Stone City Wood in writing within the time limits set out above, failing which Stone City Wood will have no liability in respect of the Shipment. Stone City Wood may also require supporting documentation in order to assess a claim. Such documentation may include original purchase invoices, appraisals, estimates for repair, or other records. Failure to submit the necessary supporting documentation (in Stone City Wood sole discretion) may result in the claim being denied. In order to process a claim, Stone City Wood must have a record of scanning activity for the Shipment indicating that it has actually been inducted into the courier selected distribution network (whether courier or freight).
Damage Inspections the courier selected retains the right to inspect any Shipment that is the subject of a damage claim. If, at the time the damage claim is submitted, Stone City Wood requests that the Customer retain the Shipment and packaging for inspection, the Customer shall retain the Shipment and packaging for inspection by the courier selected for a period of 30 days. Failure to retain the Shipment and packaging for inspection may result in the claim being denied.
You, the customer choose your shipping partner at check-out.
Shipping costs will be reflected at check-out at which time you choose your courier.
We usually ship within 2-3 days from the receipt of your order. If we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you. If your order is received on a Friday, it will be shipped on Wednesday. Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions. Weekend delivery requests may have additional charges.
Age restrictions. By placing an order you verify that you and order recipients are at least 21 years of age. At the time of delivery the order recipient must sign an age verification receipt stating that they are at least 21 years of age and must present a valid drivers license, military ID, passport or State ID for identification. Local and state laws or statutes may require you to verify your age in order to purchase certain age-restricted products. If age verification is required for your delivery address, you’ll be asked to provide your birth date as well as the details of an accepted form of identification. You can use one of the following to verify your age: Military ID Most passports Driver’s license State ID We will not accept other types of ID for age verification. If you do not have one of the accepted forms of ID, you will not be able to ship this item to your delivery address.
International Shipping. We do not ship outside the U.S and Canada. Customs, Duties and Taxes. The Seller is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the Buyer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Disclaimer: The Seller assumes responsibility for the Goods, and all risk of damage, loss, or delay of the Goods, until the Goods are delivered to or collected by the Buyer. Once the Goods have been delivered to or collected by the Buyer, the Buyer assumes all responsibility for and risk of damage to such Goods.
